Open regedit by typing “regedit” in run dialog box and pressing Ok
The navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom |
You will find a DWORD value called AutoRun
Double click on it and set the value to 0 to disable Autorun or 1 to enable it.
Note: A restart is required for the change to takes place
