If u want to disable or restrict the windows inbuilt CD burning program,then continue reading this small tweak
Open up notepad and copy paste the following
?Download nocdBurning.reg
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] "NoCDBurning"=dword:00000001 |
Save the file as “nocdBurning.reg”.You can choose any name but the name must be enclosed in double quotes and .reg extension should be present.
Now double click the reg file just created and press Yes.
That’s it… 
A logoff is needed for the changes to takes place 
This will not disable other buring programs like Nero if they are installed in your computer
