By default Pin to Start Menu option is available only for files.In order to enable this useful option for folders,Open up notepad and copy paste the following

?Download pintostartmenu.reg
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
 
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\{a2a9545d-a0c2-42b4-9708-a0b2badd77c8}]

Save the file as “pintostartmenu.reg”.You can choose any name but the name must be enclosed in double quotes and .reg extension should be present.

Now double click the reg file just created and press Yes.

That’s it… :D The changes are instantaneous :) and it is reflected immediately :)

U need to press right shift to use this regtweak i.e, select folder and pressing right shift,perform right click;then only this option is visible

Save the file as “balloontip.reg”.You can choose any name but the name must
be enclosed in double quotes and .reg extension should be present.

Now double click the reg file just created and press Yes.

That’s it… :D A logoff is needed for the changes to takes place :)

In case u want to increase or decrease according to ur choice then navigate to

?View Code C
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TrayNotify\

and modify the BalloonTip value according to ur choice in terms of Decimal mode

Open regedit by typing “regedit” in run dialog box and pressing Ok

open regedit

The navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

You will find 2 values named RegisteredOrganization and RegisteredOwner

registered owner and organization values

Just edit it by double clicking it and enter any string that u like. :-)

change registered owner value

The changes are instantaneous and are reflected immediately in the System Properties dialog box
